Martial Arts Performance Team of WTF(World Taekwondo Federation) workshop began at ‘Taekwondowon’ in the Jeollabuk-do Muju-gun on 12th, 2014.

WTF (World Taekwondo Federation), which has contributed to develop Taekwondo as a sport worldwide as International Sports Federation was founded in 1973. The main business is to held a taekwondo competitions a number of World Taekwondo Championships and World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships, not only spread Taekwondo worldwide(the number of member countries: 205, Sep. 2013), but also focused on making Taekwondo participate in the official event in the Olympic Games on an ongoing basis with being in charge of international education coach and international referee training of Taekwondo in conjunction with education.
Until now,  Martial Arts Performance Team of WTF has been the role of the towing vehicle to the globalization of taekwondo show a demo in various competitions, including the London Olympic Games, such as the Youth Olympic Games in particular. Under the slogan 40 founding anniversary of the WTF in 2013, ”Stronger than ever”, have had a strong activity for success and World Taekwondo tournament official event of the Olympic Games confirmed.

This workshop was held to develop, train and test new works for continuous development of TaeKwonDo. For this reason, existing team members of 30 people were also increasing the number to 51 people.

The workshop is scheduled to starting with 12th and is going to be performed until 15th.  In addition, this workshop is expected to become a workshop with full plans that training and performance are also acting in parallel.

On the other hand, Martial Arts Performance Team of WTF is scheduled to be invited to various events such as Kazakhstan (January), Fujairah Open (February) and the World Youth Championship (March), Youth Olympic Games(in August) during this year 2014, to show the demonstrations.
